Confessions of a Murder Suspect Blog

I started reading the book Confessions of a Murder Suspect. The author is James Patterson. This book is about a family whose parents just got brutally murdered in their own home and everyone is a suspect. it was late night when there came a pounding at the door. Only one child awoke from their sleep. That was because their room was right next to the door. It answers it and it's the police. They say that there has been a murder here at this residence and comes in. The child goes to the parents room and not knowing they are dead, but just trying to find some answers. When the door to the parents room opens the child sees the parents dead with blood splattered everywhere. This kid is not like most. They are in shock, but they cannot break out with tears. Of course they are sad and hurt and scared, but for the life of it they can't react as much. This one child goes and wakes everyone up and wonders who killed them. The doors were locked and it was only the parents, the moms friend, and the kids. Somethings missing here. Like how come nothing happened to the kids? These are the things they wondered. The two police officers seemed like a good cop bad cop situation. When everyone was in the living room. One officer came out and was shock because no one was crying or screaming about their parents getting murdered in their own home. The officer was probably freaked out by that the most. Now I'm going to save the rest for the second blog. I'm going to transition into my predictions.

So far I'm pretty confused as it is either it was one of the kids or the only other adult. But, everyone was sleeping. Maybe there could've been a open window or I don't know. From the way the book described it, it looked like they were trying to get away. As if they knew they were going to die. My confusion comes from this I've seen a show called killer kids and when a child kills their parents one is going to be sound asleep and killed like that. The other one gets waked up and struggles. In this case they both look frightened and one child by itself cannot do that. There has to be two people involved in this murder case or one really strong really scary unsub.
