The article I chose was the Coca Cola accused of using death squads to target union leaders. The author of the article is Garry Leech. This article was about a union leader and five others that were killed by a death squad. People are saying that the death squad belongs to the Coca Cola company. They believe that it was the Coca Cola company because these people were union leaders. People who stand up for their rights. People say that the death squad does stuff like threaten, murder, kidnap, and torture. It seems suspicious that it was only union leaders that worked in the coca cola company and now that they stand up they appear to be dead. I personally think that everyone is innocent until proven guilty and this case has enough evidence to do something about what's going on. In my opinion Coca Cola is awesome and I wouldn't want it to shut down but seriously using death squads! That's not right! Not one bit!!! I learned that even though their product is good doesn't mean the company is the same way.
In the poem the argument is that workers' are loosing themselves to this so called "job". These humans are getting their human rights taken away from them. They are becoming mindless, thoughtless robots. A robot doesn't feel. They are loosing their reasons why. The girl's personal opinion is that she was loosing herself. It's not right. They shouldn't live like that. The article gives the facts and this poem gives us the personal opinions. The first person point of view. How they feel and It's just terrible. Imagine if someone you really cared about went through this. How would you feel? Think about not only them but there families.
